Burger Mania!

I hope you're having a super duper Sunday! I just love Sundays. It's the end of the week and there's a whole new week to look forward to. If you ain't looking forward to Monday, it means you don't love your job! Think about it...It's true.

Anyhow, I woke up late today. I was suppose to wake up at 8am in order to get to Suntec City at 10. But, yours truly woke up at noon!! Ya know, this is the first time I've overslept in months. I guess I'm mentally worn out. Things have been going well and smooth the past month. But I still do worry about things. Nobody said being a father and husband was easy right? But you know what? I'm loving every minute of it! And that's all that matters...

Let's talk about food shall we? There's this blogger I mentioned not long ago. Her name is Diana Lim and she takes awesome food pictures. Reading her blog makes me hungry all the damn time! So go on, visit her blog @ and check out her very last post about this restaurant called Big Bosses.

More on wife is nuts about McDonald's McSpicy burger. She'll be one happy woman if I feed her that everyday. Thanks to her, she's got a bunch of other mummies on a local forum crazy about the McSpicy Burger too! The wonders of word-of-mouth marketing!! McDonald's should give her 50 cents commision for every burger she convinces the mummies to buy. Previously, she was crazy about the Ramli Burger (or Burger Ramli). Which Singaporean isn't right? I reckon the Ramli Burger is by far the best food product made in Malaysia. I had my first Ramli Burger in Klang, Malaysia a few years ago. I dunno what the fella added to the burger but it fucking rocked!!!

If you are ever in Mumbai, India, you gotta try the Bombay Burger. Forget the hygiene for a minute and get yourself the yummy made-in-India burger. The Bombay Burger is as simple as it gets. It's a fried potato patty in between a bun. But as the name suggests, it's the BOMB I tell ya! It's the yummiest thing ever!

I've got to run folks. Take good care and god bless to all!

SLANG : Jizz

One of many slang words for semen. The male reproductive fluid, semen (or jizz) consists of a soap-like substance (secreted by the prostate and seminal vesicles), sperm, fructose (non-sweet sugar), and water. Its major purpose is to fertilize the ova (or "eggs") in most mammals and select other jawed vertebrates, and it goes by MANY names. It is secreted in the process scientifically known as ejaculation, during the male orgasm.

Hey all, I'm sorry for going MIA since Tuesday. I wanted to blog on Wednesday but I didn't know what to say. Blogging on a daily basics isn't an easy feat. But it's something I want to do and it's something I need to do. It doesn't necessarily mean it's possible right? Does it?

If you don't know already, this blog isn't just a blog. It means so much more. You can practically read my posts from way back in 2005 and get to know Noel Boyd for the person I am. That's scary ain't it? My friends sure think so...

Ann, Drayden, Vik and myself went to the Night Safari on Tuesday. It rained like a bitch, we drank 5 jugs of beer and we had a ball at the world's only night safari. Now that's what I call an off day!

Yesterday, I had the honor of meeting 18 lovely models from Siren Media at Comex 2008 Singapore. My job was pretty simple. I had to apply temporary tattoos on these models at 11.30 in the morning. Now, if every morning could be like that, it'll bring a whole new meaning to the daily morning erectionss. Heh!

If you're wondering what the hell happened to Rate This Ink and Tattoo Education, wonder no more! Rate This Ink is going local from September 08. You'll see the very best work from artists in Singapore. The very first Rate This Ink SINGAPORE will happen on the 3rd of September.

As for Tattoo Education, it'll be posted on the first and last Sunday of every month. Doing so will spare me the freaking headache of keeping track as to when I've got to post this bi-monthly column.

Aite, I've got to head to dreamland. ZZZZZZzzzzzzzz....Take good care and love to all! Muaks!!!!

Sex Toys in Singapore

I was doing some research about sex toys online and I found an awesome local site. You're probably asking yourself why in gods name is Noel Desmond Boyd telling the world he is shopping for sex toys. Well, Noel Desmond Boyd has found some really cool sex toys right here in semi-conservative Singapore. And I want to share these sex toys with you!

The government recently announced better incentives to encourage Singaporeans to pro-create. I think Singapore would have better luck if they gave away the following sex toys at the Registry of Marriage...
CyberSkin® Cyber Suck - S$98.75
Specially for women that don't wanna blow their husbands. It ain't right but who am I to judge?! Anyhow, husbands who don't get blow job can now rejoice! Hmm...I wonder what's the bonus in the box...
Hello Kitty - S$49.90
Come on...this is perfect for the typical Singaporean. Remember what happened when Macdonald's launched the stupid Hello Kitty toys??!

Bendi Beaver Vibe Pink - S$198.00
This is probably the mother of all vibrators! It's pink, it rotates and it's shaped like a beaver's tail. Oh wait! It even has a F button!!!

Doraemon Vibrator - S$39.90
This is for the woman that loves to act like some dumb cute bitch! Have you seen a woman that walks around with a soft toy? It makes me wanna puke!

Adam & Eve's Couple Combo - S$49.95
This kit is perfect for foreplay and intercourse. Which my friends, is the perfect combo for making a baby. Included in this combo are a multi-speed clit cuddler, candy-apple red glitter gel and a stretchy silicone cock ring with ticklers.

Super Strap Super Sheet - S$79.30
Perfect for the couples that wanna fuck like porn stars!

Dick & Balls Latex Penis Mask - S$26.85
Ideal for the role playing couple! Now the man of the house can really look like a complete dick!

If you dig any of these products, hop on to SGINTIMATES.COM. Enjoy ya'll!!

Bishan is Active

For the first time in many weeks, yours truly has had more than ten hours of sleep. I'm recharged and feeling all so good.

Yesterday, The Tattoo Boutique was at the grand opening of Bishan Active, a S$1.8 million sports hub. I airbrushed for a good four hours and was relieved when we finally saw the last heartlander at 2pm. Events are a hell lotta fun and it's definitely more money than I can make in a single day at the tattoo shop.

Speaking of the Tattoo Boutique, I've uploaded a new website which I hope is better than the last one. I've removed certain elements of the site because there are some idiots that don't have the brains to come up with something unique and orginal. You can't expect more from idiots right? It does say a lot when people who have been in the market longer have to resort to stealing your work. I knew I was good. But I didn't know I was this good. Heh!

I did an airbrush piece at the shop which I'm very happy with. Sure it can be better but I'm contented for now. Ahhhh....

I'm beginning to miss the events industry. When I left the industry two years ago, I told my friends that I'll never ever go back. I told them that 8 years is enough and another year would kill me. And now I'm sitting here wondering when would be the perfect time to make my return. I'm gonna owe a lot of people beer. Damn it!

I didn't know what to blog about till I check my blog's statistics on Everyday, I check the number of hit's I'm getting and I give the 'keyword analysis' a good look through. The 'keyword analysis' tells me what people are searching for on the various search engines before they stumble upon my blog.

A lunatic searched for 'when is it okay for a man to manhandle a woman?' and for some strange reason, that lunatic ended up at my blog. I'm asking myself, why in the world would a person search for such a thing???

Is there ever a reason for a guy to hit a girl? Here's what I think about boys/men who hit the opposite sex. They are nothing more than scum! They aren't even a pimple on my dog's ass!

It pisses the shit outta me whenever a female friend tells me that they have been assaulted by their boyfriend or husband. In fact, I've had at least 10 females complain about being hit by a guy in the last eight months. This ain't right my friends.

So girls, the next time a guy hits you, do something about. Either get his sorry ass arrested or get a bunch of male friends to beat the shit outta him. If you don't do anything about it, he'll continue to be a loser in life and he'll hit the next girl he's with. Is that right? No! Think about it...

I'm Fucking Ben Affleck

Finally, Jimmy Kimmel Live! is on local cable television. It's so damn hard to watch quality talk shows in Singapore. Oprah and Tyra Banks ain't my thing. Don't get me started about what I think of both women. It ain't gonna be pleasent.

Well folks, check out this music video "I'm Fucking Ben Affleck" starring Jimmy Kimmel and Ben Affleck. The following celebrities and rockers appear in various scenes of the video: Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle, Cameron Diaz, Robin Williams, Harrison Ford, Dominic Monaghan, Benji Madden and Joel Madden from Good Charlotte, Lance Bass, Macy Gray, Dicky Barrett of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Josh Groban, Huey Lewis, Perry Farrell, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Pete Wentz, Meat Loaf, Rebecca Romijn, Christina Applegate, Dom Joly and Joan Jett.

A Food Website

I'm considering setting up a food website. It's the next best thing to opening a restaurant. I want the website to be genuine. I'm not saying the rest aren't. I just want it to have a different feel. A website that gives readers an honest review about a place. If a restaurant or stall isn't good enough to be on the list, it won't.

The only problem I have with starting a food website is that the website shouldn't cost too much to start. But it shouldn't look cheap and should have the necessary widgets for readers to vote and leave comments.

Lets face it, Singaporeans love food. You really can't go wrong with a website that is dedicated to food in Singapore. I plan to share recipes on the site and even have monthly cooking videos done by yours truly.

Best of all, I've come up with an awesome name for the company. It's easy to remember and it's guaranteed to remain at the top of your mind when you think food. The name itself will make marketing and branding an ease.

But before I dive into this project, I wanna hear what you think. Leave a comment at the end of this post and give me your thoughts please!

Bad bad virus!!!

Thankfully, I'm feeling much better after being hit by that nasty filthy virus. I never want to experience anything like that again. The flu normally takes a few days to hit you. It builds up real slow and it's pretty easy to intercept the flu bug. Vitamin C always does the trick for me. But man, the virus I caught was really messed up! It totally knocked me off my feet in a matter of 12 hours.

I got to work on Friday at noon. Besides the cough, everything was alright. It was a totally different picture by late evening. I was sitting in the tattoo shop alone and I passed out on the bed-like chair. When I came to, my temperature was already burning up. The journey home took forever! It normally takes 15 minutes to get from Orchard to Thomson. This time round, it felt like I was on a road trip up some bloody mountain. No kidding!

I did the most obvious thing when I got home. I slept! That was my biggest mistake. When Ann came to check on me, I was the hottest guy in the neighbourhood. Heh! My fever was 39.7°C! With much resistance on my part, my family brought me to the nearest A&E. To cut a long story short, for the very first time, the doctor didn't ask if I'm on drugs after he saw my tattoos. All he said was "wah".

So yeah, I'm glad I'm better. My thanks to my folks for being the best damn parents in the world. To my dear wife, I'm sorry I was a bitch. I'll remember not to shout or lose my mind the next time I'm sick.

I'm gonna enjoy the nice rainy Monday. There's heaps to watch on Star World. Comedy nights always rock! Take good care all and lots of love (minus the virus of course)!!!

Winnie-the-Pooh held for robbery?

TOKYO (Reuters) - Japanese police have arrested a 20-year-old man who attacked and robbed two people after they stared at his Winnie-the-Pooh costume, officials said on Tuesday.

Masayuki Ishikawa was hanging out on a Tokyo street corner after midnight last month while wearing the cuddly costume, accompanied by two friends dressed as a mouse and a panther, when he took offence at being stared at, police said.

"It's uncommon to see people dressed up like this, so the victims were watching them. Then the perpetrator came up and said 'What are you staring at?'" a police spokesman said.

Ishikawa and his friends beat up the two victims and stole $160 from them, the spokesman said, adding the group had apparently donned the unusual garb because they had run out of clean clothes.

I've been down and out with a virus the last two days. I ended up in hospital last night with a temperature of 39.7°C. It so happens that my air passage way is inflamed and that kicked started the fever.

Wife auctions evidence of husband's affair on Internet

SYDNEY (AFP) - - An Australian woman has taken revenge on her cheating husband by auctioning his mistress's "huge" panties and his "size small" condom packet on eBay.

The seller, named only as Anna from Queensland state, says next in line for auction will probably be her husband's Harley Davidson motorcycle "at a start price of 99 cents and, of course, with no reserve!"

A photograph shows the lacy black underpants, described as "size humongous" and the "size small" condom wrapper, which the woman found in her bed after her husband's alleged affair with a woman named Kylie.

Anna says of the panties: "They are so huge I thought they may make someone a nice shawl or, even better, something for Halloween perhaps."

She describes how she returned home early from work after her "soon to be ex-husband" of 22 years mistakenly sent her a romantic text message meant for the other woman, to find him discouraging her from entering their bedroom.

In the room she found the empty condom wrapper under his pillow and "The Tart's panties at the foot of the bed".

The listing was initially taken down by eBay because of its policy of refusing to sell secondhand underwear, spokeswoman Inessa Jackson told Brisbane's Courier Mail.

"We let her know about the policy and instead she's now selling a photograph of the offending knickers," Jackson said.

"eBay does connect colourful buyers with colourful sellers and I wouldn't be surprised if someone did buy these items, though I couldn't speculate on who would buy them or why.

"This is obviously very therapeutic for this woman and it must be a great channel for her views on cheating and the sanctity of marriage."

The photograph, which had a starting price of just 69 US cents, down from the original 99 cents asked for the actual items, had received 47 bids by Thursday, with the top offer standing at 127.50 US dollars with four days to go.

The listing, along with the wife's story, has been added to eBay Australia's Best of eBay site at

Noel Boyd says: I don't know if I should pity that guy or laugh my head off! I reckon he's having the most suay month of his life!

"[A] genuine tattoo.... tells a story. I like stories and tattoos, no matter how well done, and if they don't tell a story that involves you emotionally, then they're just there for decoration, then they're not a valid tattoo. There has to be some emotional appeal or they're not, to my way of thinking, a real tattoo. It tells people what you are and what you believe in, so there's no mistakes." ~Leo, tattooist, 1993, quoted in Margo DeMello, Bodies of Inscription, 2000

A Restaurant

Thank god my hangover is long gone! I wanted to blog yesterday but you know how hangovers are right? You feel retarded all day. The only thing you can do is to sleep, sleep and sleep! And with every hangover I get, I either tell myself that I'm gonna quit drinking or I'll drink lesser the next time. But we all know that's not gonna happen!

I've been thinking lots about having my own food business. I came to the conclusion that I want to have my own little restaurant by the age of 35. Preferably an outdoor restaurant that serves kick-ass western food. The thing about restaurants is the food has to be kick-ass. If not, why open a damn restaurant??! I can easily close my eyes and picture how the restaurant will look. You know what? It looks fucking awesome mate!

Singaporeans love food. I love food. I think it'll be a perfect match if the location and ambiance is right. Singaporeans will travel almost anywhere to eat good food. at the right price. Take Sunset Bar & Grill for example. It's nested deep within Seletar Camp (located @ the Youth Flying Club). It's a bloody hard place to find if you're going there for the first time. I've been there more than 5 times yet I still get lost! But when you do find the restaurant, it's worth the hassle. Jerry is an awesome restaurateur and his food is to die for!

All this talk about food has got me hungry! I'm going to the nearby hawker centre for bak kut teh (yummy pork ribs & intestines with herbal soup). Aite, I'll post again later in the day...

Comedian and actor Bernie Mac dies at 50

CHICAGO - Comedian and actor Bernie Mac, who had been hospitalized for pneumonia, died on Saturday at a Chicago area hospital, his spokeswoman said.

Publicist Danica Smith confirmed the death in a statement but gave no further details. "We ask that his family's privacy continues to be respected," she said.

Mac, 50, was reported to have been in stable condition on Thursday and his release from the hospital was expected in weeks. Smith had said Mac's bout with pneumonia was unrelated to his previous diagnosis of a chronic tissue inflammation, called sarcoidosis, which has been in remission since 2005.

Mac was best known for his roles in the "Ocean's Eleven" trilogy and other films, including "Guess Who" and "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle."

His U.S. television sitcom "The Bernie Mac Show," which ran for five seasons until 2006 on the Fox network, earned Mac two Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations.

Mac first achieved national prominence after joining the Kings of Comedy stand-up tour in 1997 with Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley and Cedric the Entertainer, tapping into an underserved market for middle-class blacks.

Happy 43rd Birthday Singapore!

As a father, there is no other place I want my son to be. I've traveled around South-east Asia in the last few years and I've seen Europe. My conclusion after each trip? Singapore is the one and only home I'll ever have.

I want Drayden to grow up and appreciate everything I've grown to love about this country. The love I have for this country wasn't developed over night. No sirree! The love grew over the years. It's like a love relationship. The older it gets, the more golden it becomes.

In all honesty, there are things I am unhappy about. It's small issues that I grumble about from time to time. Like the ever increasing cost of cigarettes in Singapore. For those that don't smoke and aren't from Singapore, a pack of Marlboro's now cost SGD$11.70 (US$8.30). There's the humid weather we experience over here as well. It gets bloody hot on some days. Not forgetting how self centered and unfriendly some Singaporeans are. Like I said, these are small issues and I love to grumble. =)

Ultimately, Singapore is everything a country should be, a home to me and 4.59 million other Singaporeans.

Happy Birthday Singapore!

From the Tattooed Blogger, Noel Desmond Boyd.

Yup, that's how cheap magazines were back then.

Yesterday Part 1

In two days, Singapore turns 43! This little red dot on the map that I call home, has certainly come of age. We are now a vibrant city that is bursting with energy and it's a country that every Singaporean can be proud of. Well, most of us anyway.

In today's post and tomorrow, I'm bringing you on a special journey back to the days where Singapore didn't have cable television, we didn't have mobile phones and PSP's and we sure didn't have the kind of toys kids have these days.

These are some of the things I remember most about my childhood days in Singapore...
This was my very first game console. It totally rocked my world!

Anyone remember this game? My classmates could talk about this game for hours...

I'm not a fan of Pepsi but this was a common sight in Singapore years ago.

"By the power of Grayskull...I have the power!"

I used to take buses like these all over the island. These buses were bloody noisy!!

I know this sounds lame. I used to collect these erasers. I found them recently in the storeroom. Through the years, the erasers melted and it's now one big pile of rubber!
