About the Concert and Band

A brief taste of Simple Plan at Clarke Quay during their visit here in May this year following the success of their performance at Singfest 2008 has whetted the appetite for fans of another appearance of this Canadian pop punk band from Montreal. They will be playing at Fort Canning Park on 15 January 2012 so come on down!

With the recent release of their fourth studio album, Get Your Heart On!, Simple Plan continues to gain worldwide recognition. Currently on a sold-out European tour, the multi-platinum, Montreal-based band boasts worldwide sales topping 7 million. Simple Plan's fourth album, this summer's Get Your Heart On!, has already reached gold status in Canada and spawned a radio hit in Jet Lag. A testament to their outstanding popularity, the band has been voted Favourite Canadian Band an unprecedented five times by viewers of the MuchMusic Video Awards. Accolades also include the 2006 JUNO Fan Choice Award and the 2005 Teen Choice Award. The members of Simple Plan have used their global popularity for good by starting the Simple Plan Foundation, which raises money for a variety of charities. In 2009 proceeds from the sale of the band's single, Save You, were distributed to various cancer charities. Most recently, the Foundation donated $10,000 towards The Canadian Haiti Relief Fund.

Contest rules and regulations

1. Contest held on the official TATTOOED by R3LOAD Network Facebook page is open to all viewers of the show.

2. Employees of R3LOAD Network and their immediate family, sponsoring companies and their agencies are not eligible to enter.

3. All winners must claim their prizes at the concert venue on the 15th of January 2012. Claims made otherwise will not be entertained. Information on how to collect the VIP Invites will be sent to the winners via email.

4. This contest is open to Singapore citizens, permanent residents and individuals with valid work permits.
