The Breed I Love Most!
One could be forgiven for assuming that a guy like me would be into dogs like Alsatians, Dobermans, Pitbulls and Rottweilers. After all, I'm not the smallest guy you'll find and I'm covered with tattoos.
But my choice of a dog is far from that. Don't worry, I'm not into Poodles. Well...I love Chihuahuas! They are just so adorable!!! And yes, they are the smallest breed in the world. That makes them even more adorable!
I used to have a minature Taiwanese Chihuahua. This breed is slightly smaller than the average Chihuahua. You should have seen the look of my friends faces when I showed up with Camo (that's his name). They knew I bought a dog and all of them figured I'll show up with some "don't mess with me" breed. LOL!
Camo passed away in 2004 because of a nerve failure in his spine. It was incredibly hard to watch a perfectly healthy dog detoriate to a state where his hind legs were of no use. I went to the extend of ordering a custom made device from Japan that would act like a wheelchair for dogs. I can't remember what it's called.
But sadly, Camo passed away before the device reached Singapore. I can still remember him taking his last breath on my lap and to be honest, that was one of the most painful experiences EVER. I think that's why I've never had a dog since.
The first day camo was with me...
He'll bring that little soft toy everywhere he went!
But you know, if I decide to get another dog someday, it'll be another Chihuahua!
