2) INK-EEZE Tattoo Numbing Spray
Ok this isn't a cream but it works just the same. It comes in little 2oz bottles and retails at US$40.00. Lots of artists in United States use this product on their clients. Enough said! If sprays aren't your thing, they have a cream that retails at the same price. Visit www.inkeeze.com to purchase today!

3) TattooCainez
I have personally used this numbing cream twice. The tattoos I got were on my thighs and each tattoo was bigger than palm size. I didn't feel any pain during the first two hours. That's pretty awesome in my books.

TattooCainez retails at $30.00 but readers of this blog get a $5 discount when you use the code 'noelboyd'. Click here to visit the TattooCainez website. Enter your Name, Email and in the message, please include the number of creams you want to purchase and the country you are from so that they can advise on the shipping costs.

4) EMLA
I have blogged about this cream before. I've seen many people use this cream prior to their tattoo appointment and all but one said it didn't work. Turns out he applied the cream wrongly. EMLA is widely used in children hospitals around the world so with that said, it's obvious that it's safe! EMLA is available at Watsons and Guardian pharmacies in Singapore and retails at S$14.00 per 5g tube. If you can't find EMLA in your country, you can purchase it at this website: www.ihateneedles.co.uk.

5) Vasocaine
This isn't a cream too but I've heard of a few people that has used it and they like the product. Vasocaine can be used for other medical procedures and is sold in 4oz bottles at US$40.00 a pop. Please visit www.dermalsource.com to purchase this product.

There you have it folks! FIVE products that have been getting great reviews. Enjoy your next tattoo session. This is Noel Boyd signing out!

  1. important to note that vasocaine can only be used on broken skin, so you still need to get the outline completed before you can get numb, but will work brilliantly if you pre-numb using cream and then just need a top-up
