"Just for Laughs" coming to Asia

Do not be alarmed when someone plays a prank on you on the streets and that recording is being broadcasted on air, for award-winning comedy show "Just for Laughs" is coming to town! MediaCorp TV has signed exclusive rights to co-produce and distribute the show in Singapore and other Asian countries.
"Just for Laughs" will be working with MediaCorp to infuse Asian elements into Western content. MediaCorp will produce the first season of the show in close cooperation with the production company of "Just for Laughs", and then continue to produce subsequent seasons independently in Singapore and other Asian countries.
Every season of the comedy show consists of 13 episodes with a total of 220 gags; each gag takes about six hours to produce.
