I had the opportunity to try the Hainanese Chicken Rice. It's pretty darn good.

Here's what it looks like when you remove the outer packaging.

In the microwave...

  5. I've always wanted to check out the food stalls at katong shopping centre. somehow, I always end up having laksa a little further down the street.

  6. the chix rice stall owners are a bit strange... if you see uncle... he is nice... if you see his wife.... you will just have to endure some stuff. I normally ask uncle to give me more melon and corn in my soup but aunty is super stingy one... including chilli.....something about the women of that stall.... sigh

  9. Thanks 'anonymous'. Don't have much of a choice about the copyright thingy. I've seen some of my art and pictures on some websites. It ain't nice when folks don't ask for permission.
