Birthday Greetings & a Birthday Wish

I woke up today hangover free! It’s the first time in years that I’ve woken up on the 14th of November without a hangover. In fact, I can’t remember a birthday where I wasn’t sloshed. Trust me, it’s a good thing! On my last birthday, my ex-colleagues at Bar None got me so drunk that I passed out at Novena Church and lost my crucifix!

I stayed up last night talking to Ant and watching National Geographic. It’s an awesome feeling when you’re living a toned down lifestyle. I am seriously over the nightlife scene and I don’t miss the party days. Signs of aging? I think so!

I’m finally done replying to birthday greetings on my mobile, Facebook, Friendster and Myspace. Pheeeew!

Alright….here’s my birthday wish. Tomorrow is Steve Irwin Day. Since we ain’t in Australia and we can’t be at the Australia Zoo, the next best thing is to donate to a charity that Steve himself created. It’s called the Wildlife Warriors Worldwide. Wildlife Warriors was initiated in 2002 by Steve and Terri Irwin as a way to include and involve other caring people to support the protection of injured, threatened or endangered wildlife. To visit their website and donate, click here.

Alternatively, you can purchase my Love Thy Planet merchandise and US$1.00 from each purchase will go to Wildlife Warriors Worldwide. For the month of November, I will match every US$1.00 that is donated from the Love Thy Planet merchandise section. To view the merchandise, click here.

That’s about all I have for this post. Have a great day ahead and look out for the weekly Rate My Ink column later today!

  2. I dont think its all about aging. you have expanded intellectually and physically.. heeeee.... okie seriously... you have different goals in your life now and the last thing you have in mind is to go chill in some club or be seen in some wannabe place. so when you have kids... in time... you will see the same cycle again... haaaa. I think steve is cool but sadly he aint around any more. he was so crocky.
