Review: mook's Spiggy
I have mad love for gadgets especially when it's a mobile phone gadget. A part of me feels like the ruler of a really cool and hip kingdom when I get my hands on an awesome gadget like the Spiggy! And then there are days where I imagine I'm James Bond or Inspector Gadget.
The Spiggy bills itself as the mighty audio maestro. That's a pretty bold statement for a portable speaker don't you think? Lucky for mook, they got it spot on! The audio quality is amazing for something that fits in the palm of your hand.
Did I mention Spiggy is completely wireless? It works via Bluetooth so you don't have to worry about cables. That's a huge plus point in my books. I always lose my cables! As of this post, I don't have cables for my digital camera, audio recorder, hard disk and MP3 player.
So if its wireless, how do you switch tracks and control the volume? From your smart phone music player of course! It is really that simple. Well the Spiggy isn't just for mobile phones. You can use it with your laptop and any other device that has the Bluetooth technology. I used it last night when I watched some sitcoms online and it was perfect!
Here are some other cool features:
- Play music that's stored on a SD card with it's built-in SD card reader
- Teleconference ability with built-in microphone
- Auxiliary input available for ipod, ipad or any other music device
- USB port for battery charging
The Spiggy Classic comes in purple, pink and white while the limited edition version (only 100 sets available) comes in turquoise, lavender and apple green. It's $117 for the classic and $137 for the limited edition. You get free delivery islandwide by the way.

wtf! $117 just for this little bluetooth speaker?
ReplyDeleteI think it's because of all the other features that are built into it.
