Making Money

A couple of readers have either texted or emailed asking why there are advertisements on my blog since I now have a custom domain. The answer is quite simple actually. Money! Advertising is a good way to earn some extra income. I got Nuffnang onboard recently because they’re LOCAL and they have some pretty good advertisers under their belt. Some of these big names are Nokia, Nike, Citibank, AirAsia and Honda.

I guess it’ll work both ways. I’ll earn revenue from these advertisers and you the reader will enjoy exclusive deals and promotions. So yeah, I’ve given the lovely people at Nuffnang the banner space you see at the top.

In addition, a few more advertising spaces will be available on this blog in the next couple of days. If you scroll right to the bottom of the blog, you’ll find the E Z Tattoo banner which was uploaded yesterday.

I have read comments in forums that majority of readers do not like advertisements on blogs. I reckon this applies to blogs that have ads all over the damn shop. I guarantee that this blog will never turn into something like that. The ads that you’ll soon see will be strategically placed and will not be an eyesore. That’s a promise! If I do get carried away with earning $$$, send me an email to voice your frustrations. Heh!
