Knife Attack at Kallang Road

This senseless knife attack just doesn't make sense! Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Damn...

Mystery knife attack kills one, injures three others

One man is dead and three others severely injured after what appears to be a savage knife attack along Kallang Road.

The Straits Times reports that full-time national serviceman Ang Jun Heng, 19, is among the three badly injured and that half his left hand, along with four fingers had been hacked off, and he had deep cuts to his neck, face and abdomen.

The other two injured are under intensive care at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

The paper reports that the four victims appear not to know each other.

Aside from Mr Ang, the other three — including the dead man — are Indian nationals aged between 24 and 44. Here on work permits, they live and work in different places.

It appears all were knifed from behind in the Kallang area. No weapons have been recovered and no suspects arrested.

According to a Channel NewsAsia (CNA) report, a passer-by spotted a body at an open field beside the Riverine by the Park condomimium along Kallang Road and alerted a security guard at the condominium, who called the police at 7.30am.

The security guard said that the dead man’s head was covered in blood and he was dressed in a brown t-shirt and black pants.

stays in that area! Only less than 30 mins
away from home and his life changes forever.
