If you are a fan of Back To The Future, you'll dig this! Over 30 years ago, Nike was asked to collaborate on one of the greatest franchise movies of all time. I credit Back To The Future for my mad imagination! I used to watch and imagine myself doing whatever Marty McFly did in the movie. From the hovering skateboards up to the power-laced Nike Mag shoes. Yup, I used to imagine my shoelaces tying it's own laces.
Well ladies and gentlemen, we don't have to imagine anymore. Today is the day Marty McFly and Doc Brown traveled to in Back to the Future 2 in 1989. When Marty traveled to the future in the sequel to October 21, 2015, to be precise - he was greeted by flying cars, self-tying sneakers and hovering skateboards. So the good folks at Nike delivered a gift to Michael J. Fox introducing the innovation to the shoe’s first, and most celebrated, wearer.

However the 2015 Nike Mag is a limited edition release. It will only be available via auction, with all proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. The specific details on the auctions will be posted to Nike News and via Twitter
@Nike in spring 2016.
But you will be glad to know that Nike intends to release another Nike Mag model in 2016. I can't wait for it!
